We welcome John Bowman back to SFG. John, a local singer/songwriter based in Port Moody, is a veteran guitar player, who incorporates a finger-picking style of playing to showcase his songs, in styles calling on a variety of folk and blues. John has released four CDs to date, “Beach on the Ocean” in 2011 and “Alone on a Saturday Night” in 2013 and “Tourist Town” in 2016, and “Love, Grace, and Gratitude”, in 2020, and another one currently in the works. With musical influences including James Taylor, Harry Chapin, Bruce Springsteen and Jackson Brown, John covers a wide spectrum of musical styles. He is a regular performer at various Farmer’s Markets throughout the Lower Mainland, and continues to work at his song writing craft, co-writing with other songwriters, and helping them with feedback to enable them to improve their writing. We are very happy to see John back at SFG, and we know you will enjoy listening to him.
