This exhibition is in partnership with Grand Prix of Art Steveston, an annual plein air painting challenge and art exhibition that takes place along Steveston’s historic waterfront. The event invites artists to paint outdoors with the aim of capturing the spirit or essence of a landscape, incorporating natural light, colour and movement into their works. This is the first exhibition of a two-part, year-long showcase by artists who have created work highlighting Richmond’s local culture, history and natural heritage.
