Presented by the Steveston Folk Guild. Trout Lake Trio is one of Vancouver’s great folk and root traditions. Three long time friends who get together socially and musically to create an incredible mixture of tunes, some serious and some of a silly nature but guaranteed to make you laugh. With great harmonies, a lot of heart, they are great musicians. We have Kitty King (upright bass), Jane Slemon (guitar/flute), and Bernard Gobin (fiddle). Both Kitty and Jane have cd’s, and you will get a taste of some of thoae songs from “My Dancing House” (Kitty) and “Breathing August” and “Feather and Stone” (Jane). Come and have a good time, laugh alot and join in on some great songs.
